I have been using the >"And"> method although the justifications keep pouring in from my son Andrew. He will actually follow me around the house badgering for long periods of time (sometimes well over an hour). He is relentless in his demands and requests even though I refuse to argue and do not cave in to his demands and I have told him (using "And") my stand; and stated I have things to get on with and proceed to my own business. I realize 15 years olds can be very trying to put it mildly. I have three older sons who are all grown up and moved on in their independant lives and are doing very well for themselves. They all went through their own issues as teenagers but NOTHING to the extent of how Andrew is presenting. For the mose part he uses ALTERNATE METHODS of getting his own way, he is very deviant and scheming. Lies by ommission are an art he thinks he has invented! This part I really do not know how to deal with and ask if you can be of assistance in this area that I would sure be open to trying anything you might suggest. The"And" method alone for us has not really resolve anything and is leading to different problems. I have seen some improvement with just this. Today I am going to execute asking small requests from my son. I have thoroughly enjoyed your website and you have a lot of great tips.
